| HOME NEWS PARENTS STUDENTS FORMS STORE DONATE ABOUT TOURNAMENT | ||
Uniform Instructions Uniforms will be organized on the uniform racks by section. Gloves will be issued twice during the season. If you lose your gloves, it is your responsibility to replace them at your cost. Do not wait until the last minute to identify this need to a Quartermaster. They have other responsibilities. Replacement glove costs will be posted. All band students are to provide black socks to wear with the uniform. The Quartermasters will not be selling socks, so plan ahead. On performance days – band shoes are to be stored in either the original box or in a brown paper bag with you name and instrument name on it. No exceptions. Following the wearing of the uniform – re-hang it neatly and correctly on the hanger. The silver baldric (sash) bears a number that corresponds to the uniform jacket – they must match. You will be required to check it back in with a Quartermaster before you are dismissed. Do not store shoes, gloves or socks in the uniform garment bag. Remove all personal items (tuners, reeds, etc.) after every wearing. Section Mentors and staff will be addressing hair. Competition hair needs to look uniform and “military.” No jewelry worn with the uniform. Band shoes are to be polished for every performance – even between Friday night football games and Saturday competitions. All students will wear their black tour shirts under their uniform. If you have an alternate black shirt, you may wear it on game days prior to Saturday performances. Tour shirts will be worn on performance days. The formal band photo will be in uniform without hats and gloves. You must wear your black band shoes and black socks to be in the photo. Please plan ahead. |
